Working closely with a trusted network of national technology and deployment partners, 3V builds and operates Level 2 EV chargers in long-dwell properties such as housing and hotels, eliminating upfront and ongoing costs for real estate portfolio owners and managers, including public and private REITs, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Family Offices, and Private RE Owners.

Job Summary
3V is launching a new product line, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS), to provide standardized, fixed-cost financing solutions for EV charger installations across a wide range of property types. To execute on bringing these offerings to market, 3V is hiring a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead the ongoing go-to-market motion and run a robust channel partner engine.
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for managing partners across key verticals including hospitality, healthcare, retail, and multifamily. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has experience scaling channel-led go-to-market motions.
Key Responsibilities
GTM Leadership for New Product Line
Execute the go-to-market strategy for IaaS and CaaS offerings with a focus on partner-led distribution
Refine segmentation, pricing guidelines, partnership structures (referral/revenue share), and legal agreements
Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and executive leadership to ensure launch readiness
Channel Development & Acquisition
Prioritize and secure strategic partners across channels by asset class and solution areas
Maintain a pipeline of high-impact relationships, closing 10+ channel agreements within the first year
Negotiate and execute referral or co-selling agreements that drive long-term value
Partner Enablement & Activation
Build a 30-day onboarding process including steps like training materials, co-branded sales collateral, pricing tools, and deal desk workflow
Establish scalable partner process flows to facilitate material sharing, lead submission, and pipeline tracking
Deliver near-term partner wins by securing pilot projects within 90–120 days of activation
Sales Enablement & Joint Success
Conduct sales training sessions, webinars, and QBRs to drive engagement and field adoption
Own the creation of GTM tools including one-pagers, pitch decks, ROI models, and case studies
Collaborate with partners on pipeline management, forecasting, and joint selling opportunities
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
Define KPIs including partner-generated pipeline, conversion rates, and install volume
Contribute to building dashboards and weekly performance reporting with support from ops and finance
Continuously refine partner strategy, optimize incentives, and identify scale opportunities
Market Presence & Thought Leadership
Represent 3V at industry events, conferences, and webinars targeting EPCs, REITs, GPOs, and energy buyers
Develop and publish thought leadership content related to EV infrastructure finance and deployment strategy
Qualifications
Required
10-15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales
Demonstrated success in designing and launching go-to-market strategies for new products or services
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and executive communication skills
Experience with one or more of the following: clean energy, property technology, construction, commercial real estate, or mobility infrastructure
Highly self-directed, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity
Preferred
Experience working in hotels, hospitals, or other commercial real estate asset class verticals, specifically working through EPCs, property managers, MSPs, GPOs, etc.
Familiarity with EV charging hardware/software ecosystems or energy-as-a-service models
Previous roles at high-growth startups or capital-intensive infrastructure businesses
