Junior Account Executive 

United States – Remote (Occasional Travel Required)

Role Summary 

We’re bringing our outbound engine in-house. This role will work closely with the Director of Business Development to run sales outreach, qualify opportunities, and close deals. You’ll own day-to-day prospecting and early-stage sales conversations, collaborating with marketing, partnerships, and sales to refine messaging, sequences, and GTM motions. 


Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & Prospecting 

  • Build prospect lists and manage existing contacts, following agreed ICP criteria 

  • Run daily outbound motions across email, LinkedIn, and phone using a sales engagement tool 

  • Conduct discovery calls with property owners and managers to understand portfolios, EV charging needs, and decision-making processes 

Sales Support  

  • Prepare hand-off notes and maintain clean pipeline data in our CRM 

  • Dependent on continually evaluated skillset, run the full sales cycle from first meeting to signed agreement with guidance from the Director of Business Development 

Messaging, Sequences, & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with marketing to test and iterate email sequences, call scripts, and LinkedIn messaging 

  • Provide feedback on which content assets drive engagement and meetings 

  • Support conferences and partnership campaigns (pre-event outreach, on-site follow-up, and post-event nurture) 

Pipeline Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate contact, company, and deal data in CRM

  • Log all activities (emails, calls, LinkedIn touches, meetings) and update opportunities in real time 

  • Report weekly on outreach volume, conversion rates, pipeline created, and learnings by segment/persona 

  • Help ensure suppression lists, DNC flags, and existing customer/active opportunity records are respected 


Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years in a BDR/SDR or Junior AE role at a B2B company (SaaS, Infrastructure, PropTech, or Real Estate a plus)

  • Hands-on experience with a CRM and a sales engagement platform (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Salesloft preferred)

  • Comfortable working from lists, targets, and KPIs and iterating based on data

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Self-starter with an analytical mindset
