We're Hiring! Senior Financial Analyst

Company Overview

3V Infrastructure is an EV charging infrastructure investor, owner, and operator building the charging infrastructure needed for the future of real estate.  We partner with multifamily owners, operators, hotels, and other real estate organizations to deploy and operate Level 2 EV charging solutions while eliminating the upfront capital costs and ongoing operational and technology burdens traditionally associated with EV charging.  3V is backed by Greenbacker Capital Management and is scaling its national portfolio.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the central owner of 3V's underwriting model, corporate financial model, and Investment Committee (IC) materials. This is a blended role: you'll run day-to-day underwriting and deal analysis for the Go-To-Market (GTM) team, own the analytical and reporting infrastructure that supports every deal decision, and provide senior-level judgment on model integrity, assumptions, and IC-ready outputs. You'll also partner with the Strategy/Data team to track operational performance against underwriting assumptions, support insurance matters, and act as a point of quality and guidance for junior analytical support. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to sit at the center of how 3V evaluates, finances, and communicates its deals — with real ownership from day one.

What You’ll Do

Underwriting & Corporate Financial Model

  • Model Ownership: run and maintain 3V's corporate financial model, ensuring it reflects current assumptions, deal structures, and business logic

  • Underwriting: lead day-to-day underwriting for new prospective deals, sizing economics and flagging key risks and sensitivities for the GTM team

  • Customer-Facing Materials: build clear, compelling proposals, pro formas, and deal summaries that GTM can bring directly to prospects and partners

  • IC Materials: own the end-to-end IC materials process — packaging underwriting outputs, key assumptions, and risks into a clear, senior-audience investment narrative

  • IC Support: serve as a primary point of contact for IC-related questions and follow-ups on deal economics

Operational Tracking, Model Refresh & Collaboration

  • Actual-to-UW Tracking: work with the Strategy/Data team to track how live sites and portfolios are performing against original underwriting assumptions

  • Model Refresh: use actual operating data (utilization, revenue per session, opex/capex) to periodically update and recalibrate model assumptions and drivers

  • Data Analysis: pull, clean, and analyze operational data from the charging network, deployment partners, and internal systems to support both deal analysis and model updates

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with GTM, Strategy/Data, Operations, and Finance to keep deal analysis, IC materials, and the financial model consistent and current

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: support the Finance team on special projects (M&A, fundraising, FP&A) and other analytical requests as they arise

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment/underwriting analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role

  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, deal analysis, and scenario/sensitivity analysis

  • Demonstrated ownership of a financial or underwriting model, including maintaining and evolving it over time

  • Experience building materials for external or senior-audience consumption (e.g., customer-facing proposals, Investment Committee memos, board decks)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational data into clear financial takeaways

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a build-mode environment

  • Strong communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with GTM, Strategy/Data, Investments, and Finance

  • Ability to work remotely within the United States with reliable internet access and the ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

Preferred Experience

  • Experience owning or building underwriting models in infrastructure, EV, real estate, or other capital-intensive/investment settings

  • Experience supporting or presenting to an Investment Committee or similar deal-approval process

  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analysis/visualization tools

  • Experience tying operational/data-source metrics back to financial or investment models

  • Exposure to corporate insurance programs or risk management

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 (U.S. remote)

  • Bonus: Eligible for annual discretionary bonus, with target payout commensurate with role and experience

  • Equity: Eligible for long-term incentive program

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision; 401(k) with company match; 20 days of paid time off plus company holidays

Why 3V

EV adoption is creating significant infrastructure opportunity for real estate owners across the country.  3V’s model removes the financial, operational, and technological barriers that have traditionally made EV charging difficult for property owners.  We’re building a national platform in a rapidly developing market, and the analysis this role producers directly shapes which deals we pursue and how we communicate them.  The person in this role will have direct visibility into that commercial impact and help drive decision making.
